Description
Cyndal Bach is an original C16th fisherman's cottage which has been sympathetically refurbished to give an extremely comfortable home with up to date facilities.
The cottage is quite detached and independent of Pentre Cyndal which is the Mallinson family holiday home, although it shares the entrance gates.It has its own parking area and large secluded grassed garden with furniture.
Accommodation comprises: Sitting/Dining room with beamed ceiling, storage heater and multi fuel-stove, sofa and easy chairs, dining table and chairs, flat screen TV with DVD, radio/cassette player. Slate floor with Jute carpet square and rag rugs, coffee table and selection of books including local walks and tourist information for both Anglesey and nearby Snowdonia
One step up leads to the kitchen containing fridge with 2 star freezer box, a four ring gas oven and grill,micro wave oven, electric kettle,toaster and cafetiere with full range of kitchen utensils.
Shower room has an extra large cubicle with a 9.5kw shower with seat,w.c.and wash basin, electric heater and extractor fan and heated towel rail.
Bedrooms are up the original steep cottage staircase which we would not recommend for the seriously infirm. The main bedroom has 3' twin beds which can be linked for king size with twin duvets (sheets and blankets are available on request) and is approached through the single room which has a 2'6'' bed with pullout bed for fourth guest or there is room for a cot.
All beds and chairs are modern, there are three electric blankets, hot water bottle, hair dryer bedside lights,dressing table, stool and chair, 3 three drawer bedside chests and rail with hangers. Both bedrooms are close carpeted and there is a convector heater in each bedroom. The rooms are bright and airy, Velox lights in the fully insulated beamed roof give extra light to the original cottage windows, all of which are double glazed.
All towels and linen are provided except beach towels ,NO SMOKING IN THE COTTAGE PLEASE.
One small well behaved strictly controlled dog is permitted at a cost of £20 per week, please bring your dogs own bedding. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture and must not be left on the property unaccompanied.
Rhoscolyn is an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' with a multitude of birds and wild flowers, 5 minutes walk down a private lane to the safe sandy beach of Rhoscolyn which has rock pools at low tide and is an excellent center for sailing and other water sports. Cyndal Bach is situated adjacent to the Anglesey Coastal path and there are a variety of walks strait from the doorstep.
The White Eagle pub is 15 mins walk across the beach and 24 hour supermarkets at Holyhead.and Valley with ATM.
Please note: a £50 Security Deposit is required. This is payable directly to the owner and is refunded within 14 days of departure less charges for electricity
